Our 3˝ day program is the most in-depth and productive way to
experience Disney's Approach to Leadership Excellence and make the
most of exploring how to take your organization’s leadership to
the next level. You will have the opportunity to:

Opening Session:
On your first night at one of our Disney Destinations, you will
enjoy an evening reception and meet your facilitators. They will
introduce you to Disney's Approach to Leadership Excellence and
uncover the legacy of leadership that has contributed to the long
lasting success of the Walt Disney Company. In this first working
session you will witness “The Power of Story,” our way of
presenting the Disney Difference in leadership, where we explore
the
connection between a person’s values and their ability to lead
others. You will also be introduced to the current Disney's
Approach to Leadership Excellence, a five-part model that will
serve as the framework of your 3˝ day program.
Day One: Vision: Examine the first part of the leadership model to
understand why a leader’s vision is critical to success.
• Explore strategies for your vision
• Develop your leadership vision
• Create your own leadership action steps for vision
Involvement: Examine what leaders must do to create a work
environment that encourages employees to be actively involved in
the business.
• Participate in a Field Experience - Meet with a
Disney leader to discover how to effectively involve employees in
the business of your organization
• Create your own leadership action steps for
involvement
• Perform an application activity
Day Two: Leadership Development: Investigate the methods used to
develop leadership
throughout a
Disney Destination.
• Participate in a Field Experience — Meet with a
Disney leader to discover how to provide effective structure and
culture in your organization
• Create your own leadership action steps for
organization
Change: Discover why leaders must take a proactive approach
to change in order to keep their team “on top of their game.”
• Participate in an application activity
• Create your own leadership action steps for change
Day Three: The Character of a Leader: Recognize how your leadership
philosophy will contribute to the long term success of your
organization and your career.
• Identify the values and behaviors of successful
leaders
• Discuss leadership strategies
• Realize the power of your story
Disney Leader Presentation: Hear how a specific Disney
Destination resort has influenced one of its leaders and in turn,
how this leader has made a difference.
Program Graduation and Luncheon: Celebrate your experience!
