When
most people hear the name “Walt Disney”, they think of Mickey
Mouse, classic movies, and theme parks.
What they often don’t think of, or even know about, are
the many innovative ideas that eventually lead to the creation of
the Walt Disney World Resort.
From the first “talking” cartoons in 1928, to the bold
visions of an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, Walt
Disney always pushes the limits of technology.
“Innovations in Action” highlights Walt’s many
accomplishments and takes you on an unforgettable journey where
you’ll see, firsthand, how we make magic at the Walt Disney
World Resort!
Your
facilitator sets the stage for this 3.5-hour adventure with an
insightful look at the early days of Walt Disney’s career.
Following the opening presentation, you’ll travel to a
variety of locations for an up-close look at these innovations in
action. Here are a
few of the places you’ll visit:

horticulturists create world famous topiaries.
