Harry P. Leu Gardens has nearly fifty acres of peaceful grounds that let you enjoy “Old Florida” at a leisurely pace.  Stroll along meandering paths shaded by ancient oaks, forests of camellias and giant camphor trees.  Take a guided tour of the Leu House Museum , a restored late nineteenth-century home that begun as a Florida farmhouse.  At the Garden House, take a quiet break and enjoy the romantic view of Lake Rowena .

Harry P. Leu Gardens features:

·         Miles of paved scenic walkways that take you through garden settings, including America ’s largest Camellia collection outside California and the largest formal rose garden in Florida .

·         A house museum dating from the 1880’s.

·         Rose garden, herb garden, butterfly garden, palm garden, bamboo garden.

Hours: Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. , except Christmas Day

House tours from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. , every 30 minutes

The House Museum is closed during the month of July.
